[MGP-Forum Announce] Media Democracy Day

Hi, I'm wondering if any groups/individuals might be interesting in  
organizing a Media Democracy Day event in your area this October?

I'm organizing one in Vancouver, and trying to encourage a  
rejuvenation of Media Democracy Day in North America. So far I've  
heard of several cities planning events.  Because it's all about local  
autonomous organization I think it's doable - considering the recent  
Step It Up 2007 campaign, and the rise in interest concerning media  
issues.

I plan to write an article outlining/promoting it shortly, and I want  
to include mention of places that are organizing one - so if anyone is  
considering it please do let me know.

-if your involved in organizing one we could coordinate on publicity  
materials etc...
